Vernal Falls

Vernal Falls is one of the main gems of Yosemite National Park. Thousands of years ago, a glacier cut Yosemite’s valley into several parts, forming the rock walls from which beautiful waterfalls, including Vernal Falls, flow today. If you go up to Glacier Point Lookout, you can see not only Vernal, but also Nevada Falls above it – together they look like a staircase with huge steps.
