Angel Falls
In 2009, the Venezuelans renamed Angel to Kerepacupaqui meru, one of the local names for the waterfall
The world’s highest waterfall with a total height of 1,054 meters is located in the heart of the Amazon jungle. The water rushes down the Auyantepui Plateau and before it even touches the ground it turns into a mist that envelops the whole area for kilometers away. The only way to get to Angel Falls is by air or river.
